Founded in July 2014, Beijing Roborock Technology Co., Ltd. (Roborock) specializes in the research, development, and production of products that make peoples lives more comfortable. We design our range of robot vacuums, and our cordless stick vacuum to work so effectively that people are empowered to spend more time on the things they love and less time on chores.

Roborock is headquartered in Beijing, with R&D and branch offices in Shanghai and Shenzhen where our engineers, designers, scientists, and manufacturing experts collaborate closely throughout development and testing. Our international office in Hong Kong is home to our global team and staffed with people from across the globe.

Our team comes from a number of the world?s most respected brands, including Microsoft, Huawei, Baidu, Foxconn, DJI, and more. We have diverse educational backgrounds and experiences in different fields, including algorithm development, electronic engineering, mechanical structure design, and manufacturing.

Company milestones

In July 2014, our company was established.

In September 2014, we received the investment from Xiaomi and became a member enterprise of Xiaomi ecological chain.

In September 2016, Mi Home Robotic Vacuum Cleaner, our very first product, was launched, which has become the bestselling robotic cleaner in China.

On March 27, 2017, Mi Home Robotic Vacuum Cleaner was marketed in Taiwan, selling 15,000 units in one month with a turnover of NTD 130 million.

On September 19, 2017, we launched our second product. The Roborock Robotic Vacuum Cleaner, crowdfunding over CNY 10 million in 4 hours.
